Masala pasta

Pasta is an Italian dish that can be made up of unleavened dough of wheat flour and mixed with water, eggs and from them in different shapes like ribbon pasta, tubular past, etc. Why pasta have different shapes, because of each pasta shapes hold different sauces than other pasta shapes. The different shapes of pasta does not affect the taste of pasta. Yes, if you cooked different pasta on same level the taste will be same but you cooked pasta on different temperature the taste will change.

Origin of pasta

We think that pasta is culturally Italian food. Pasta is an Italian dish, but this is not true. Pasta is brought from China to Italy by Marco Polo during 13th century. Means pasta is not original dish of Italian it is taken from China and serve with different style and different taste. This is the history of pasta, pasta is Chinese dish but Italy added some other flavors, sauces and ingredients and serve as Italian dish.

Does Pasta shape change the taste?

Yes, there are so many types of pasta. Each pasta has different shapes, different size these small things can change the taste of pasta. Tubular pasta got inner and outer surface cover with different sauces but noodles shape pasta and fusilli pasta only cover with outer side means only outer surface. This is the reason behind changing the taste.

Types(shapes) of Pasta

There are 350 different types(shapes) of pasta. Some of this are following, following pasta shapes are mostly eaten by people.

  1. Spaghetti (it’s long, thin and round shape pasta).
  2. Penne(it’s short, tube-shape and hollow center).
  3. Pappardelle(it’s flat and wider).
  4. Orecchiette(it’s like a little ear).
  5. Macaroni(tube shape and hollow from inside).
  6. Linguine(it’s long, thin, flat).
  7. Farfalle(it’s bow tie shape).
  8. Fusili(it’s twist and spiral).
  9. Fettuccine(it’s flat, ribbon shape).
  10. Capellini(it’s long, thin and also called angle hair pasta).
  11. This is the different shapes and different types of Pasta.

Tip: These above pasta have different boiled time, and different amount of sauces.

Pasta good for health?

Yes, if you want protein and fiber then you must eat pasta over rice. Pasta contain more fiber and protein than rice, rice contain calorie and carbohydrate that’s why pasta is healthier than rice. It means that pasta is good for health.
Pasta did not contribute to weight grain or increasing fat, pasta has low glycemic means it increases blood pressure in smaller from.

Ingredients for making pasta

  • Boiled pasta(boil pasta 7-9 minute in medium flame).
  • Cabbage(chopped cabbage one bowl).
  • Carrot(fine chopped).
  • Cheese(as you need).
  • Sauces(soya, chili sauce).
  • Olive oil(you can use regular oil that you used).
  • Tomato(5-6 tomato Puri).
  • Onion(chopped onion in fine from).
  • Mushrooms(in small pieces).
  • Garlic(in paste form or very small pieces).
  • Salt(as taste).
  • Pepper(1 teaspoon or more than this).
  • Black pepper (additional if you like it).
Hollow pasta

Steps to make pasta very tasty

  1. First take which shapes of pasta you want to make, then take a pan with water and boil the water and about 2to3 tablespoon salt.
  2. Then add pasta on water and boil pasta in low flame for 6-8 minute, take one piece of pasta out from pan and press if pasta is boil perfect then pasta will crush by your finger very easily.
  3. Drain the water from pasta, pasta will not contain extra water.
  4. Take a pan with olive oil and start cooking, then add cabbages chopped, carrot fine chopped, mushrooms in small pieces, some other masalas, garlic and sauces.
  5. Cook then in low flame otherwise, the ingredients we add will be burnt.
  6. After all ingredients is cooked well then add pasta and stir them for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Your pasta is ready to eat, serve it as hot and garnish with coriander and spread cheese and red flakes.
